Top 10 last minute gifts ideas...Need your help!

I'm putting together a top 10 list of last-minute gifts, but can only think of 9!  What should #10 be?

Top 10 (ish) last-minute gifts:

  1. Gift Certificate framed in a pretty frame
  2. Bottle of wine, favorite spirits or case of beer
  3. Forced bulb plant kit
  4. Scented Candles
  5. Soup mix kit
  6. Oversized Tea or coffee mug filled with a favorite blend
  7. Lipstick case with mirror (you can never have too many)
  8. Photo book with a personal photo or holiday greeting in the first slot
  9. Coffee Table Book
  10. ???

I think you should call this the top nine items - because this looks great.  I think you have covered all the bases with this list.

Thanks

Pretty good list Susan.....I was thinking gift card is easy...but that is covered in gift certificate...that 60 inch plasma TV would work for me though

Susan... Maybe a DVD of a sentimental movie or a music CD would convey a special message of memorable times.  Love your first idea.... never thought of using a frame to dress up an otherwise boring gift certificate.

Susan, if the gift is for a guy, any six pack will do!  LOL

We just hit the chocolate store and got several nice bags and some quality bars for the kids to give to teachers!

Merry Christmas!

I find movie tickets are usually a hit and anyone can use them.

Christmas Ornament plucked right off the tree and put in a fancy gift bag.  I forgot to buy my daughter a present for her teacher.  Thats what I did this morning!

I like the plasma tv comment as well,

I always love to receive a basket filled with assorted spa essentials like bath salts, shower gel and wonderful smelling lotion.   That would be my favorite last minute gift.  HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

See's cnady is always a good choice. It is not avaliable in many places so the reciever will feel special.

I got some gourmet cupcakes from a local baker here in Raleigh and dropped them off to my clients with a note that said working with you has been a "piece of cake":)  Gotta love a good cupcake.

Wow...great ideas everyone...so what I'm hearing is that a plasma TV, a six pack and world peace would work?

I thought of another one...lottery tickets!

Ok, I'm done until Xmas 2008!  Enjoy your after-Christmas sales, everyone!

Good topic Susan. I'm little late but could be used for the New Year.  Offer any client who may have not sold a vacant in the holiday months 1/2 off your inventory fees for the next month contracted. You not only have a happy client but your inventory is being put to use during the "slow" time.

Susan.. I like this blog.. I thought of something else you can add.. and it doesn't have to be number 10.

This is hard to explain.. so hopefully you'll be able to get the idea.

I buy a vase, that has a candle insert in the top.  This is good for both men or women.  You can put cottonballs in the bottom, and Q-tips in the top.. great accent for any bathroom.  They sell them at party-lite.com You can also arrange items in it for a holiday as well...
