Here we go again! Thanks Teresa Ramey for tagging me!
1. I'm such a regular at Dream Dinners (where you go assemble your meals) they now have an apron with my name embroidered on it. I feel like "Norm" on "Cheers."
2. I'm a late bloomer. Took 5 years to finish undergrad, got married at 34, and had kids at 37 and 41. Soooo...that means I'll be 59 when my youngest graduates high school!
3. I have a glass of wine every night. It keeps me in "practice" in case I go out to dinner with friends and have 2 or 3 (or whatever) glasses.
4. I have a bowl of Edy's ½-sugar slow churned ice cream every night as well. I believe that if you eat it regularly, your body knows best how to metabolize it.
5. What I want for Christmas: a nap, and to move further south.
I tag: Kathy Holbrook, Kathy Mohr, and Ann Anderson, Yes I'm picking on fabulous Connecticut stagers who don't blog as much as they should!) ;)
Get yer Blog on girls!!!

Sue, I took your advice from that wonderful RoundTable meeting in Conn. and am spending more time on ActiveRain learning how to navigate the site. Thanks for your encouragement. Quick Question, what did you mean by "tagging me" that you referenced to Teresa? Clearly I have a lot to learn.
Susan - Dream Dinners was very big amongst many of my friends in Austin, they raved about it, saying it was an entire experience and the food was terrific! Very funny they made you an apron!
Where would you move south if you could?
Jackie
Susan ~ I've been drinking Pomegranate juice to get the same benefits as you would from red wine, as I am not a red wine drinker. I usually like a Zinfandel, but my wine friends make fun of me. : P I don't care, it doesn't give me a headache!
I'm about ready to move south myself. I always thought North Carolina one day, but we will stay as long as our kids stay. I know my kids will move off Long Island one day because there is just no way they can afford to live here, so until then I'm putting up with our winters.
Enjoyed your MeMe!
Hi Robin...welcome to the rain! Not sure I understand your question, however!
Jackie - Yes, it's awesome! As far as where I would move...ironically we just sold waterfront land in Edenton, NC...but anyplace from VA to FL along the coast would work fine for me! :)
Hi Kathy - tannin's can really mess up your head if you have allergies! I like white wine too...enjoy your LI winters for a bit longer! Maybe we'll all end up in NC one day!
Thanks for letting us get to know the real Susan better. I knew I liked you!
After reading #2 you have a great reason for #3! I am also an every night kind-of wine chick. My reason/excuse is 1 teen and 1 preteen daughter! :)
Hi Janice...goodness, I'm so not prepared for pre teen and teen years! Guess I'd better keep up w/#3, huh?
Hi Charlene - I'm surprised DD is not in Canada yet...you could open a franchise, and be the first! ;)
Fernando - I'd move to FL in a heartbeat! Especially right now when the snow has already turned gray! Ew!
Julia - I'm an optimist, what can I say!?!? Let's nag em both, ok?
come on down!
the weathers great, low 80's with nice breezes.
and we're giving the homes away in southwest florida, particuarly the cape (cape coral)
i left new hampshire in 1992.
i now believe snow looks best in pictures.
I love your ice cream philosophy! Can that be applied to my shopping trips as well. "Honey, I had to go, my body was expecting it..."
Great meme!
Hi Jay - Congrats for "getting out" when you did!
Kristina - Good point...that concept is sure convenient!!!
Hi Susan!
I'm so glad I tagged you! I enjoyed reading about you. You are as interesting as I thought. :) Thank you for taking the challenge. Thanks again :)
I'm with Kristina, I like your ice cream philosophy.
