Home Sweating, (I mean "Staging")

Home Staging and Sweating If you can't see the Animoto movie below, go to http://animoto.com/play/14fa4e99104a24866b01fff56d02fac4.

No one ever said it wouldn't get sweaty! And I'm in Connecticut! Can't imagine what southern stagers endure!

That is the coolest little movie! I LOVE IT!!!

I'm with you girl!  I've been working all week in the 90's....staging AND trying to get my storage unit and rooms organized!  I have seriously been sweating buckets but the good thing is I'm losing weight!  LOL!

I would love some of your warm weather.  We've been in the low 70's all summer ... this is global warming?

Makeup is not even worth putting on -- sweats off in two seconds.  I've been working on the third floor of a building that is being converted to condos -- NO AIRCONDITIONING!  95 and humid -- not pretty!

SO. . .how'd you make the movie? It is great!

Ha ha Susan!  Here in Florida we sweat just walking out the front door.  Heck we even sweat in air conditioning.  I dress light (even though it may not be professional) and wear a head band to catch the sweat dripping down my face.  Its not a pretty sight in the summer!

Susan, love it.  We haven't had too many 'sweat it' days here in Calgary and autumn is now on the way.  I think I would rather stage in hot weather than in the cold winter days that are coming up.  On the bright side - staging is fun in any kind of weather.  Betty

Teresa - Glad you liked the movie (new toy...Animoto).  Bummer your storage unit isn't air conditioned!  But just think about how cold it will be this winter (I'm from Columbus, so I know how it goes out there!).

Larry - You're welcome to have some of our heat...just please return in come dead of winter!

Lori - Absolutely no makeup in weather like this!  What's the point, it would just drip off!  I also found that gray t-shirts are not good...really show sweat!

Terry - Nice visual w/the headband!  ;)  I could totally live in Florida, however.  Except I'd worry that I'd be too cold in the A/C.  My in-laws are in Jacksonville.  Am due for a visit this fall.

Betty - I'm with you...sweaty summers beat freezing winters anytime!  So stage on, my friend!

Very cute movie.  We had 2 weeks of over 100 and my air conditioner in my work wagon (aka suburban) went out!  Ughhh.... I haven't made the time to take it in and today it was over 90.

Oh My!! Sweat.. we've beed dripping here in NCal for weeks.  We call it the "Staging Glow".  No makeup, light clothing, and hair up in a "Wilma".   I am so ready for some cooler weather ;0) That is the coolest movie.

Susan, my headband is ala Jane Fonda from her go for the burn workout videos.  Is that gross or what?  But its either that or blinded by the sweat.

Susan,

I can't stand staging in non-A/C homes if it's over 80* ... we should have a surcharge in our contracts for such a thing!!  Your movie is too much fun!

Susan - Too cute!  I've been Sweatin' to the Oldies myself - in Fairfield County - new construction, dust, no air, no water, no power!!!  I had to go home yesterday because I was afraid my perspiration would ruin some drapery...

Awesome Susan!  I make films like that for our neighborhood and e-mail them out after a party and they love it.  I'll have to try it with staging!  BTW Thx for posting to the new group, Real World!

And I were sweat head bands too!  Can't stand the seweat in my eyes!
